As a Working Foreman / Production Team Leader, you are responsible for coordinating daily operations on the production floor while actively participating in the work yourself.

You will work mainly in the production hall, where vegetables such as leeks and spring onions are processed, sorted, and packed. The environment can be wet, cool, and physically demanding. In addition, you will regularly move across the yard between different work areas, including cold storage facilities, where forklift use may be required.

This is a varied role that combines leadership, hands-on work, coordination across multiple locations within the site, and basic administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in daily production and packing processes
• Lead and supervise a team of production workers
• Plan and distribute daily tasks
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and product quality
• Perform quality checks on vegetables
• Solve operational issues directly on the work floor
• Train and guide employees
• Coordinate activities between production areas, yard, and cold storage
• Operate a forklift when required (if certified)
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as reporting production results, tracking attendance, and supporting daily planning

You act as the link between the team and management, ensuring that operations run smoothly across all areas while maintaining clear communication and proper reporting.

• Experience as a Working Foreman / Team Leader or strong leadership ambition
• Background in production, logistics, or food/agriculture sector
• Ability to work in a wet, cool environment
• Willingness to work both inside the production hall and across the yard
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Independent and responsible work attitude
• Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification
• Good command of English (Dutch or German is a plus)

This is not a standard production role. You will be constantly moving between the production hall, yard, and cold storage, keeping overview and ensuring everything runs efficiently.
