What will you do?

As an Automation Engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and improvement of electrical control systems and PLC-driven production equipment. You play a direct role in the reliability and performance of our modern production line. You'll analyze malfunctions, implement technical improvements, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

On an average workday, you start by reviewing the technical status of the machines. You fix urgent breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and execute improvement projects. You collaborate with colleagues from production, maintenance, and management, read technical drawings, adjust parameters, and carefully document your work. You'll work in a 3-shift system, where you face new challenges and plenty of variety every day.

Requirements

What we expect from you

  • You have at least a completed associate/bachelor’s degree (EQF-NLQF level 5) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, production, or maintenance systems.
  • You have good command of the English language (spoken and written).
  • You have knowledge of electrical control systems (high and low voltage).
  • Experience with PLC-driven production equipment.
  • You can read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willing to work in a 3-shift system.
  • Good communication skills and enjoy working with different teams.
  • In possession of VCA and NEN 3140 certificates (or willing to obtain them).
  • Proactive, quality-oriented, and reliable.
