Wat ga je doen?
In this role, you will independently operate and set up production machines and mobile equipment within a modern greenhouse production environment. You will work with advanced machinery used in plant cultivation and have the opportunity to learn how to operate the complex potting press.
This position combines machine operation with hands-on production work and includes tasks performed in varying temperatures.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Operating and setting up the potting press (Visser VM2070)
Operating spacing machines
Learning to operate seeding lines, potting lines, washing units, mower, robot shuttle and stick placing machines (on-the-job training)
Monitoring the production process and adjusting machine settings when needed
Identifying and resolving minor technical malfunctions independently
Cleaning and maintaining machines and equipment
Supporting the full production process, including physical tasks when required
You will be working as part of a production team where flexibility and willingness to support other tasks in the greenhouse are essential.

They cultivate 17 different species of aromatic herbs - from basil and chervil to coriander and chives - serving both consumers and professionals across retail and foodservice sectors.
Quality and food safety are core to their operations. The company holds IFS Food certification (score 98.32%) for conditioning and packaging processes and maintains GLOBALG.A.P. certification, reflecting their commitment to sustainable and responsible cultivation.
You will be working in a practical, hands-on production environment as part of a team where flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential.

ull-time position (minimum 38 hours per week)
Hourly rate between €14.71 – €18.12 gross, depending on experience
Salary in line with the Dutch Greenhouse Horticulture CLA (scale B–C–D)
Long-term employment with the possibility of a direct contract

Wat we van jou verwachten
Good command of English and/or Dutch
Valid forklift certificate (heftruck)
Proven experience operating machines in an agricultural or production environment (not an entry-level role)
Full-time availability (38 hours per week)
Willingness to work early shifts (starting between 04:00 – 07:00)
Availability for rotational Saturday shifts
Physically fit and able to work in varying temperatures
Technical insight and willingness to independently operate machines
Reliable and flexible team player
Affinity with the horticultural/green sector is an advantage
